'PLAY IN THE OKANAGAN'
Here are a few of our favourite places to play in the Okanagan:
OUR HOME, K-TOWN:
Kettle Valley Railway Trail, Myra Canyon Trestles - This restored KVR trail is a hot spot for hiking and cycling amongst historic trestles and amazing valley views.
Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna - A favourite hike amongst locals, and a popular tourist quick stop at the viewpoint for spectacular views of the city and the serene Okanagan lake.
Kasugai Gardens, Kelowna - A tranquil Japanese Garden in the heart of downtown. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing moment of reflection.
Kelowna Mountain Park - a spectacular cliff walk across a 100 foot waterfall, a chairlift and four bridges over vineyards. Home to the longest suspension bridge in North America.
Gneiss Climbing Gym - Experience the most refined climbing and fitness facility in the Okanagan Valley. It's a great hangout!
LAKE COUNTRY:
Oyama Zipline Adventure Park - If you enjoy an elevated experience, zip-lining in the Okanagan is hard to beat. Enjoy 180 degrees of sensational lake views over a pristine forest with speed lines, rope bridges and an aerial obstacle park.
Spion Kop Hiking Trails - If you like 360 degrees of lake and mountain views away from the crowds, you'll love this area. Trails are generally pretty steep, ideal for moderate to experienced hikers.
Pebble Beach - All up and down Okanagan Centre Road and Carrs Landing Road are a number of awesome quiet beaches and parks. Enjoy the life of a local and just chill with a nice book or bring a paddle board and cruise along the lake.
